The English Print Room Course runs two full days.
Students arrive the night before.
The course is held at a private facility overlooking the harbor. If the weather is chilly, the fireplace will be lit and classical chamber music will take us back to a more tranquil and simpler way of life as we learn this creative decorative art. We believe that the art of learning should be a great experience. However, don't let the quiet ambiance we try to emote fool you. You will not be still from the minute you arrive until the very end. There is much information and technique to learn. Be prepared to learn, work, have fun and create. You will leave fully prepared to do your own Print Room for yourself or professionally.
The course begins at 9 a.m. both days. The content includes a brief history of the Print Room and immediate hands on learning on how to put up a Print Room.
The cost of the workshop includes
all learning materials
the workshop in it's entirety
meals to be included are lunch and tea for both days and dinner and wine the evening of the first day
Workshop Cost: $1600. Accommodations are not included but will be arranged for you at an historic Inn or Club in Newport.
