What is a Print Room?

The English Print Room is an 18th century decorative art technique that has been resurrected in the later part of the 1900's after having lain dormant for over one hundred years. Here you will find all information as to how you can create your own traditional or more modernized version of a Print Room in your home, on decorative screens, select furniture or items.

A Print Room is designed by
grouping individually and carefully chosen prints together and embellishing the design with delicately cut out decorative pieces such as garlands, bows and rings. The groupings are connected with ribbons, chains and ropes. They are then glued flat to the wall and framed out with reproduction 18th century borders and the decorative pieces.
