The first thing you do after choosing your prints, is to measure your room exactly including the placement of light fixtures, wall sockets, doors, windows and any other permanent object other than the walls. A 'wall plan' of each wall is drawn and the arrangement of the prints you have selected is created. Borders are selected, decorative pieces are drawn into place and you are now ready to build your room on your master plan.

The first step in preparing the Print Room is to cut out each piece from the sheet it is printed upon.
Next, if the Prints are new, they must be tea stained to appear aged.
Each border is measured, the corners mitered and the hanging pieces selected.
The spot where the print will go has been measured out on the wall. Wheat paste is brushed on to each piece that will be put on the wall starting with the print.
Each piece is carefully applied and brushed down with a wet sponge.
Each print, each border and each hanging piece is applied individually and with care. Most Print Rooms, starting with the smallest of Powder Rooms can take 20 prints or more and the larger rooms such as Living spaces and hallways can take well over 60 prints depending on the size of the room and the size of the prints.
